Spicy Stir-fried Octopus (Nakji Bokkeum 낙지 볶음)

Here are some shots of Nakji Bokkeum. It’s baby octopus stir-fried with bean sprouts, onions, sesame seeds, and a spicy sauce. Great stuff that gives me cravings.
Only make sure that you have no plans the next morning. Your butt will be on fire.

I am soooo craving bibimbap right now!
[...] true that bibimbap requires bulgogi-at least the writer at Zen Kimchi doesn’t seem to think so-I still think that a beefy version of it would be quite tasty. I mean, as it was, I mixed [...]
Hi, I went to college in Rochester, NY so I tried the garbage plate many times (and often miss it!). I love food like you do so I just wanted to offer a better Korean comparison to the garbage plate— I just recently found out about the omurice restaurants that are popular here. Well, if you get a hamburger omurice and slice it all up and mix it, you can’t get much closer to a garbage plate!! I was really surprised to find the taste so similar too. So if you’re missing garbage plates, for all those Roch people out in Korea, just get some hamburger omurice! ;)
joe – i really enjoy your blog – esp your food journal! i learn something new every time i come to your site! the garbage plate – how intriguing. i am so craving bibimbap right now!
Hey Joe. Where did you find that home made bibimbap song. Hilarious. Had it pumping in the teachers office and it got everybody’s attention. Anyways, its been too long, we have to hit up that boreabap once again, I’m sure the valley there is looking just beautiful these days.

Wow, that bibimbap looks tasty! I like the picture of the fast moving hand mixing the stuff.
