Over the summer, I spent a fun day to be part of filiming a documentary about Korean food by tvK 24 as some of you may remember.  I finally got the airing schedule!  It’s a 4-part documentary that will air starting tonight at 7:20PM Pacific Time (10:20PM Eastern Time) and the same time every Thursday after that.

Now, they tell me I’ll be in Part 2, The Cuisine of Happiness that will air next Thursday.  I’m not sure if you have to keep your eyes peeled for the whole 40 minutes to catch me (and hopefully some of my friends) in some fleeting seconds or good minutes.  I won’t be able to watch it when it’s aired because tvK is not available in my area - I’ll just be anxiously waiting for the DVDs that will be coming in a month.  I hear that there is also a plan to air the program in Korea at some point in the future, but no specifics on that yet.

Her food adventure reflects her childhood from Korea, her daily life in Manhattahn, and her enthusiasm for endless possibilities of Korean food, which she shares with the readers of ZenKimchi Food Journal as well as her own blog shinshine.com. With her understanding of Korean and American cultures, culinary trends and languages, she has also written about Korean food scenes in New York and food trends of Manhattan for Korean publications, and translated for the Korean food dictionary project.

    I have to check if I have tvK, pretty certain that I do. In case I’ll miss it this Thursday, I plan to get the DVD.
