We Can All Rest Easy Now


The two-year trade dispute between China and South Korea over Chinese-made kimchi has been resolved. Supposedly the inspections in China to prevent parasitic eggs in their kimchi has been brought up to Korean standards.

Someone please correct me here. Aren’t the kimchi factories in China mostly owned by Koreans?

    Stories like this strengthen my love for kimchi. People love it so much and NEED it, that they’ve had to invent a version to bring into space. I feel bad for the Russians who will want to crack a window after the can is opened… Because they won’t be able to.

    I’m going to be making a trip to Seoul in May! I’m so excited!

    those who mock kimchi know little of its mighty power for good or evil… ;-)

    Mind you, I’m not entirely certain a two-gallon glass jar of fermenting veggies and spices is what *I* would take into space; but my wife’s kimchi is an important part of my diet…
