“Big Kev” Cyr started Chili King as a street food cart in Itaewon. He now has a brick-and-mortar location there. The namesake chili is indeed the king of chilis in Seoul (though a Texan purist may disagree). The burgers are hearty, and he even includes chili dogs, a Sloppy Joe and a Donair, a late night drinking food from Kev’s native Halifax. The venue is small and cozy. And the jovial conversation with Kev while he cooks is well worth the trip.
