Cuisine: Pub grub

Price:$$

Reservations: Optional

Suggested Items: All is pretty good-I really liked the Burgers and the fried noodles

Well, the oriental style fried noodles at Gecko’s are just great. A Little spicy and freshness brought in by the added fresh bean sprouts and the cilantro. A filling dish that comes with shrimp and a choice of beef or chicken. Well worth the money.

Other amenities: They do have an all english menu (really extensive), and you can surf the net for free when you bring in your laptop. I enjoy the dartboards with friends or sometimes just a quiet cup of coffee in a corner or, when the weather permits, on the balcony–great for people watching.

Meh…the burgers used to be better. They stopped getting good rolls and last time I had two top buns on my burger. I guess they were being nice to me, but I feel sorry for the person that got two bottoms.

Well, for me Gecko’s is still the best joint to hang out and have good quality food.I heard the owner used to be a chef himself.I like to get food with a pro background, rather than some “guy” who has no clue’s cooking.Never been dissapointed over there.I like the changing specials and someone told me that they gonna have breakfast on a daily basis soon-well,you’ll see me there more often….And hey, gimme that other top half of the bun, will ya?
Great drinks too-stiff,cold,friendly!!!!!I love this bar

Terrible service as is typical of Itaewon eg a bemused look from the person that just poured your drink into a chipped glass when you return it.
Think I’d much sooner make my own burgers in Korea anyways. Where to get decent buns though is anyone’s guess. Not Costco anyway.
